If you are born in Bangladesh, you must register your birth date to certify that you are a Bangladeshi citizen. There is no way to prove yourself as Bangladeshi citizen without your birth date registration.

Registration of the Birth and Death Registration Act, 004 (Act No. 9 of Act 004) under a man's name, sex, date and place of birth, parents' names, their nationality and permanent address of the register by the Registrar to provide written or computer generated entries to provide a birth certificate.
